I’M IN THE MOOD
Full Supermoon in October 2024 ~ The Hunter’s Moon
I LOVE full moons. They always put me in the mood for Love. They seem to put most people in a mood, but I love the intensity of emotions that can manifest during a full moon cycle. Being in my feels makes me feel alive and gets me excited, because I know that means there is an opportunity for growth. No matter my mood, I know to expect my senses to be on fire. So, I choose to embrace the energy and whatever mood it puts me in, knowing that my awareness might actually help me to navigate my days ... and nights, during this time. The ultimate goal is to bring me back to center. This is PEACE.
So, what can one expect to feel during the full moon energy?
Deep emotions! It's like a slow elevator ride into Hell, revisiting old haunts along the way. Your mood may turn darker as you go deeper into the depths of your Soul. For some, the ride may feel like anxiety, torment, and breathlessness from the weight that feels like a ton of bricks on your chest. Others may feel like they're drowning, struggling to stay afloat as that energetic anchor pulls you down, keeping you tethered to an unhappy ending in your past. It can be exhaustive and unbearable the deeper you go into the darkness. It can be quite unpleasant to have to revisit the memories, the moments, and the Love lost.
But keep in mind, the full moon also symbolizes completion and spiritual growth. It can be a creative energy if you allow yourself to feel that fire inside, building up like a volcano ready to explode. You might find yourself in an angry mood, oscillating in and out of frustration, or even rage. Don't worry! Simply recognize the process of what is happening, that something in your past is still haunting you and burning to get out in order to make room for new, good energy to come in. Think of it as nature's way of lighting a fire inside you, motivating you to move forward. You must "grow" through the pain of what is tethering you to your past in order to free yourself from the Hell you've been suppressing, avoiding, or escaping. In other words, stop and ask yourself who or what are you holding on to? Is it a memory or a feeling of what once was? Maybe it is the idea of a future happiness that never came to fruition or saw the light of day.
At the end of the day, your moods are your own, and in order to heal you must speak your Truth, while being aware of the process of healing. If you allow it, this process will enable you to come full circle. You have to "Feel it to Heal it!" Instead of focusing on WHAT you are feeling - anxiety, torment, and breathlessness - try focusing on your moods. HOW are you feeling? Are you feeling sadness, disappointment, anger, or some other shadow emotion? Ask yourself why you are feeling this way and recognize your role to play in the emotional exchange. This is REFLECTION. Did you keep showing up for someone who did not appreciate your presence? Did you keep making excuses for poor behavior when you saw the Red Flags early on (damn those Red Flags). Did you watch the years go by, hanging on by a thread, to an old heartstring tethered to the song in your heart... your heart's desire?
Now, hold yourself accountable for what was in your control. Feel the pain and let go of what was out of your control. It does not belong to you. This is RELEASE.
Find the Love you are looking for within. We call this self-love and it means to go love yourself. Stop looking for outside approval, validation, and worthiness. You deserve all the love in the world, but you will not recognize it if you do not feel it for yourself. Allow yourself to get in the mood! Recognize the truth that you wanted them to love you as much as you loved them. We are human. The moon brings this out in us. Forgive yourself for being human and making mistakes, so that you can let go and move onward and upward, riding that elevator straight out of Hell and towards the Light. This is COMPLETION and it feels like Heaven. You deserve it. I want that peace for you.
