POINT OF VIEW

What a breathtaking view!

As I sat in this beautiful historic building, in good company, with a nice cup of Coffee Nudge to keep me warm, I realized that it does not matter where I go, what I am doing, or who I am with...I am never alone.

That night, I could feel the pressure in my chest as a lost Soul approached me.  It was a familiar feeling to me.  It was hard to breathe and my chest felt tight, stirring up that sensation to cough.  I know this feeling all too well.  If you are not aware, or "tuned in" to the other side, you might mistake this feeling for allergies or the beginnings of a mild cold.  Consider another point of view.  You could be experiencing a haunting!

For those of us who are sensitive to the other side, keep in mind that you are a Light in the dark for those Souls who are lost and trying to find their way back home.  Most of us know that when we die, we are supposed to "go to the Light," also known as Heaven.  A lost Soul is simply a fractured part of a person's Soul, the part of them that suffered trauma, and chose not to go to the Light when they died.  Most of us refer to these lost Souls as "ghosts."

For those of us who are sensitive to the other side, we might sense ghosts in their death state and feel their pain and suffering, whether it be emotional, mental or physical pain.

In this case, I could sense the spirit of a man, who looked like an older version of the guy on a box of Gorton's Fish Sticks.  When I asked Michael, my Angel, what was causing the chest pain and coughing, I heard the word "emphysema."  While he did not ask me directly for help, we exchanged enough energy to hopefully spark something in him that will set him on a path to healing.  This is the Light.

So, what is the point to all of this?  Why does it matter?

I believe that we can shift our life's path if we simply shift our point of view.  It is the difference between holding judgement for others, as opposed to having compassion outside of ourselves.  As an Intuitive and True Empath, it allows me to "see" past the fear of what I am perceiving, the chest pain, the coughing and scary image of an old man whose intentions are unknown.  Instead, I choose to "see" him, to feel his pain and suffering.  I now know, he made his choices and this is the ghost that haunts him.  Outside of sharing space with him for a moment, I understand that his problems are his own and do not affect me outside of this intimate connection that I chose to give to him.  I can give him my time and space and "see" his point of view, without feeling that weight and taking that burden home with me.

Being able to help another Soul by simply "seeing" their point of view matters to me.  It is a breathtaking view, indeed.
